Purchase of an Automated Insurance Claims System

BID BULLETIN NO. 1

This is to notify bidders of the following clarifications in the Terms of Reference (TOR) as discussed during the pre-bid conference conducted on January 6, 2011 at the ASG Conference Room, 6th Floor, SSS Building, Ayala Avenue corner V. A. Rufino St., Makati City:

  1. The hardware and software to be used for the development environment of the Automated Insurance Claims System (AICS) shall be for the account of the contracted bidder.

  2. The AICS should support MS SQL Server version 2005 and higher.

  3. The AICS should support Internet Explorer ver. 7 and higher and other major browsers.

  4. The AICS should support Windows Server 2003 and higher.

  5. User accounts shall have integration with Active Directory, with option to use either Single Sign-on or Multiple Sign-on during authentication.

  6. The AICS (application and database) should be able to perform at an acceptable level when deployed in a single server with the following specifications:

    1. Dual Intel Xeon, 3.06GHz

    2. 292GB HDD usable hard disk space (4x146 GB)

    3. 2 GB DDR SDRAM

  7. Any hardware upgrade of the assigned PDIC server necessary to support the system requirements of the proposed solution shall be for the account of the contracted bidder.
